All data used to generate the graphs on this page were obtained with a
Mk1 "Crain" in just over one hour. Similar data or better would be
obtained with the Mk2, Toughman or Mk3 Chameleon.
The result is a 3D model of "the Swamp", the Univ. of Florida football stadium shown with exaggerated vertical scale.
2) Gridding routines can turn the data into a 3D model
that you may look at from any angle.
The exaggerated height reveals details such as the field's slight convexity to allow water runoff.
1) The data is transferred from the receiver to the computer
and after a quick automated postprocessing the position is displayed as a 2D
map. A GIS geo-referenced picture was taken. Clicking on the spot where it
was taken displays it in the window to the left.
You may measure distances, display attributes or change the map datum.
Depending on your browser settings you may see an animation
below. Again, note the slightly corrugated field surface.
GeoMapperTMGeoMapper provides precision datum translation functions and can be used to display the data in 2-d and for 3-d visualization and much more ... The software operates on Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista operating systems.
3)You may now export the data to many popular third party
Survey, GIS or CAD software packages for further analysis.
